Alanna has served as President of the Local 20 since January 2020 and as a National Executive Board member of NAGE since April 2022. She is a paramedic who has worked at Empress Ambulance Service since 2016, and has been in the field of EMS since 2010. Before working in southern Westchester County, she worked rural EMS in Connecticut and the Hudson Valley as an EMT, with experience in volunteer systems as well as in the ER where she worked as a tech. She is a CLI and loves teaching EMS. In addition to her experience in EMS, she also does a lot of volunteer work in the nonprofit world. Since 2016 she has planned and directed a week-long youth summer camp that teaches about cross-cultural peace building and diplomacy. Beyond all that, she loves hiking, traveling, photography, camping, reading interesting articles, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Tyler started in EMS with New Windsor VAC, becoming an EMT in August of 2020. He began working as an EMT in September of 2020 for both Philipsown EMS, in Putnam County, and EMStar who has since been acquired by Empress EMS. Tyler begins Paramedic School in January of 2022. In addition to being an EMT, Tyler has also been a firefighter since April of 2018, with the Vails Gate Fire Department. Tyler is in the process of becoming a Certified Lab Instructor, and working towards his degree in Fire Investigation, and Administration, as well as EMS Administration. While Tyler is not at work (which is rare), he enjoys spending time with his family, and friends.
Jeff has been in EMS since 2009. He currently works for Mobile Medic (Empress West) and is the Supervisor for Mamakating EMS. During Jeff’s free time, he enjoys gambling at the casino and going on vacation with friends. Jeff is usually working and is readily available for your questions or concerns.

Nicole has been an EMT since 2017, and has worked at Empress since 2018. She is a certified EMD, and dispatched between May of 2019 and June of 2021. She is currently in nursing school and loves the medical field! She also loves answering questions to help others out so if you need anything let her know!

Willis started in the field of EMS when he was only 16 years old. He's worked at Empress as an EMT since 2009. Previously, he has worked for the federal government, the state of New York and the City of New York. He used to serve as President of the IAEP Local 20, the president of the EMS Division of 1199, and was the third vice president of DC37. He also plays the bagpipes!

Carl Vazquez became an EMT in 1996 and briefly worked for Empress. He then went to MLSS and trained in technical rescue with Silver Lake Fire Department. His career later took him to Metro Care in the Bronx, working at St. Barnabas and Montefiore. After being involved with 9/11, he was moved to Orange County and eventually Wappingers. Car

Carl trained to be a paramedic in 2006 through Ulster. He was even asked to return to the program as a lab instructor. While in Wappingers, he served Sullivan County by working a flycar with Town of Liberty Ambulance. In early 2011, he moved to Life Net. Missing working on the ground, he came to Mobile Medic (now Empress West). Carl has his TCCC, as well as CPR, ACLS, and PALS instructor certifications.
